As it is imperative that we insure our automobiles, do we as consumers in actuality benefit or is it the company that is offering such insurance the one that really benefits. As can be understood, we both benefit, but the extent to which we each benefit is highly different.
Car Insurance is defined as a policy in which the owners of vehicles including cars, vans and trucks seek protection for these properties against losses that may occur in vehicular accident. This therefore means that if one meets in an accident with another vehicle (or even a tree) and the car is totalled, then it is the job of the insurance company to assist in getting the owner a new means of transportation.
This is the only benefit one can establish from being affiliated with an insurance company. It helps to alleviate the annoyance and inconvenience of car accidents and other similar services rendered.
As well all know car insurance companies earn a massive amount of revenue from providing such monetary aid. When one opens an insurance policy with GEICO, or All State, they would have to make monthly payments to these institutions in order to strengthen their accounts and bolster their possibilities of receiving a 'set' amount of financial aid in their time of need. Hence, these companies are basically banks that allow you to save money that will be available to you when you meet in an accident.
However, it is never this simple, as with the many stipulations and requirements of such companies, this is where they are able to make millions from their customers. It is even doubled when the person meets in an accident as the cost of such policies are almost always increased. No one can deny the fact that these accumulate to a lot more benefits for these car insurance companies.
But it is a part of life as the world involves many situations where in order for one to receive help, they have to compensate the individual, and this compensation at times usually amount to a lot more than the aid that is actually being given. Unfair or the norm?
